Honolulu police are investigating the death of a 7-month-old girl who died at an unlicensed day care over the weekend.
Neighbor Katie Camario spoke to military newspaperStars and Stripesabout her concerns. According to the newspaper, Camario alleges she saw unattended children chasing each other with sticks, another child’s head caught in the playground equipment and even a toddler sticking a butane barbecue lighter in his mouth.
PEOPLE was unable to reach the day care operator. It is unclear whether the operator has retained an attorney.
