Ali Fedotowsky-Mannoisn’t shying away from the admission that having a newborn changes everything in a marriage.
And while the couple slept apart “out of necessity” for work-schedule purposes during the first months, they’re back in the same bed now — however, their dynamic is not quite the way it was before children, she tellsPEOPLE Now.
“Our relationship’s still not the same,” says Fedotowsky-Manno, 34. “We have two kids 2 and under and we don’tdo date nights nearly asmuch as we should.”

The lifestyle blogger and former reality star recalls an incident that happened just a few days prior, when daughter Molly saw her parents share a smooch and said, in a surprised tone, ” ‘Mommy and Daddy give hugs!’ ”
“I didn’t like that that was surprising to her,” Fedotowsky-Manno tells PEOPLE. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, Mommy and Daddy should give hugs more often in front of our children.’ ”
The mother of two admits she and Manno, a radio host forValentine in the Morning, are operating on “tunnel vision” as parents of young children.
“We’re still working on getting back to that passionate place, ’cause it’s hard — we’re tunnel vision right now,” she explains. “We’re like, ‘Just survive, just survive, just survive.’ ”

Fedotowsky-Manno jokes that she and her husband are “still not having as many make-out sessions” as they had before they became parents — and says they “never fought” in their childless days.
“Since kids, we fight,” she divulges. “Over stupid things, like what time somebody put Molly down for her nap — ‘Did you put her down a half hour too early?!’ ”
“And we’re still working on our relationship, butour relationship’s solid, it’s awesome,” says Fedotowsky-Manno. “I know it’s going to get to a more romantic place [again eventually].”
