Nearly two decades after he played Bruce Willis’ wide-eyed son inUnbreakable, Spencer Treat Clark has returned to one of his most memorable roles.
“When Night called me, it was such a trip,” Clark, 31, tells PEOPLE in the latest issue. “I was like, convinced this has to be him telling me that my character is coming back but they’re hiring Chris Hemsworth. It was pretty exciting.”

“Obviously, I’m at such a vastly different stage of my life now,” he continues. “And the landscape of the genre has completely changed. You have to remember thatUnbreakablecame out before all these Marvel movies. So now it’s going to be so wild for these movies to come out after our current cultural obsession of superheroes has panned out.”
