Amber Heard Ditched Her Engagement Ring from Johnny Depp Last Month, but was Still Wearing Wedding Band

Amber Heard parted ways with her impressive round diamond engagement ring fromJohnny Deppweeks beforefiling divorce paperworktoend their marriage, but she appeared to be wearing her wedding band as recently as last week.

Engaged inJanuary 2014, Heard, 30, began proudly wearing the ring, which featured intricate scrollwork and a slightly raised setting. Depp, himself, put on a similarly sized diamond at the time, telling reporters during an interview, “I’m wearing a chick’s ring on my finger.” He alsotold David Lettermanthat the jewelry was “too big” for Heard, noting she “has the other one that fits.”

Heard was still sporting the ring as recently as February, when she attended the Grammys. The bling was notably absent, however, as early as April 12, when Heard attended a film screening.

When Heard went old Hollywood glamour in a thigh-baring golden gown at the 2016 Met Gala in New York City, her engagement diamond was not among the bevy of rings adorning her fingers.

Heard and Depp, 52, hadn’t been seen together in public in some time before the split news broke, and the actress evencelebrated her birthdaywithout theBlack Massstar in Palm Springs this past April.
