Amy Adamshas shared in the past that she relies on her musical talents to help herself get into character — and as it turns out, the songs she chooses aren’t always exactly conventional.

On theSAG Awardsred carpet, the 44-year-old actress, who’s nominated for her performances inSharp ObjectsandVice, revealed that she sang something a little on the raunchy side while dressed as Lynne Cheney.

To bring the former Second Lady to life alongsideChristian Bale, who’s also nominated for a SAG Award for his portrayal of Dick Cheney, Adams even sported Lynne’s iconic bob.

“For me, finding my way into Lynne, it actually felt like I knew her,” Adamspreviously told Deadlineabout the role.

Bale, on the other hand, had a more complicated relationship with the previous Halliburton CEO. When he won theGolden Globe for best actor, he sniped at the former vice president.

“Thank you to Satan for giving me inspiration on how to play,” said Bale.

The 25th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will air live on Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT and TBS.
