As another eventfulMarch Madness tournamentwinds down, two teams have made it all the way to the championship game: the Virginia Cavaliers and the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Monday night’s game is bound to be one for the history books, as either winner will score a first-ever championship title for its school, according toCBS Sports.
Here’s everything you need to know about the culmination of the Big Dance.
The 2019 NCAA Championship game begins on Monday at 9:20 p.m. EST.
The match will be broadcast on CBS from the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
Monday’s game should be a clash of the titans, as both teams came into the tournament seeded high.
Virginia came into March Madness as the top-ranked team, while Texas Tech ranked third.

Virginia started off this year’s tournament with a pair of decisive wins against No. 16 seed Gardner-Webb in the first round and against No. 9 seed Oklahoma in the second round.
The team then went on to face No. 12 seed Oregon in the Sweet 16, winning the game 53-49, before triumphing over No. 3 seed Purdue in an Elite Eight game that ended in an 80-75 overtime victory.
Virginia had another nail-bitingly close game on Saturday, when they took on No. 5 seed Auburn in the Final Four.

Increasing their winning margin even more, the Read Raiders beat No. 2 seed Michigan 63-44 in the Sweet 16, but had a much harder time pulling off a 75-69 win over No. 1 seed Gonzaga.
In their Final Four game, the team faced off against No. 2 seed Michigan State, winning 61-51.

Although it’s likely to be a close game, the odds are in Virginia’s favor.
The Cavaliers are going into the championship face-off as a one-point favorite, according to CBS Sports.
