Shayanna Jenkins, whoannouncedthe pregnancy onInstagramlast month, delivered a healthy daughter on June 16 near her home in Providence, Rhode Island.
Jenkins has another daughter, 5-year-old Avielle, with Hernandez.
He was convicted of Lloyd’s murder and sentenced to life in prison; he was acquitted of the double homicide in April 2017 and days later wasfound deadin his prison cell after hanging himself with a bed sheet. He was 27.

But a source close to Hernandez tells PEOPLE that Jenkins-Hernandez was the love of Hernandez’s life.
“Aaron was attracted to men, but the relationship that he had with her was 100 per cent genuine,” says the source. “He loved her, and thought of her as his soulmate.

Aaron Hernandez’s fiancée’s expenses “merit investigation for reasonableness,” his trustee’s legal team alleges.
Noting that it’s estimated Shayanna was disbursed upwards of $800,000 from the fund since she was named conservator, Schwartz’s legal team writes, “The Trustee understands that providing for Avielle includes expenses related to her household, but the expenditures from her late father’s NFL pension and Social Security benefits merit investigation for their reasonableness, if not correctness.”

Yankees center fielder Aaron Hicks opted to sit out Monday night’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays following the police killing of 20-year-old Daunte Wright in Minneapolis on Sunday.
The team’s manager, Aaron Boone,announcedthe adjustment to the starting lineup during a press conference Monday afternoon.
“With all that’s going on in Minneapolis, he’s having a tough time right now,” Boone said of Hicks. “We had a conversation in my office, and he felt like it was best to not be in the starting lineup tonight, and I certainly support that.
