In an interview with thePat McAfee Showon Friday, the Green Bay Packers quarterback said he and other unvaccinated players are subject to rigorous safety requirements, which he described as “Draconian measures” that “in my opinion were not based on science.”
Unvaccinated team members must undergo COVID-19 testing each day and cannot enter the Packers' facilities until they’ve received a negative test, Rodgers said, adding that he wears a mask whenever he is inside the facilities and is required to “physically distance” from teammates.

The 37-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback has donated $1 million to help 80 struggling small businesses in his hometown of Chico, California, the North Valley Community Foundation announced in apress release.
“Small, locally owned businesses are the heart and soul of a community,” Rodgers said in the release. “In the applications and the videos, it was heart-wrenching to hear about all the obstacles facing restaurants and retail establishments.

The 38-year-old Green Bay Packers quarterback wore a hoodie with the words “Cancel Culture” crossed out across its chest while joining McAfee and co-host A.J. Hawk on Tuesday’s episode.
The message is seemingly in referenceto the criticism Rodgers receivedwhen it was revealed last month that he had not actually received a COVID-19 vaccine after saying he had been “immunized” against the virus.
