Abandoned Dog Has 9 Pounds of Matted Fur Shaved Off During Dramatic Makeover: 'This Poor Baby'

The animal shelter said Master Roshi was in bad shape when he first arrived at their location, and the person who dropped him off refused to provide any information about the pup’s owner or how the canine’s fur came to be so entangled. “We are so saddened at the state that this poor dog came to us,” the rescue wrote alongside a video of the dog.

Abandoned Pet Bunnies Overrunning Florida Neighborhood: 'They're Everywhere You Look'

Then nature took over, according to Sue Chairvolotti, the adoption coordinator atOrlando Rabbit Care and Adoptions. “They dug their way out of the backyard, and the rest is history,” she tells PEOPLE. A rabbit can produce 1-14 babies every 30 days or so and can get pregnant again the day she gives birth.

Carlson called his supervisor Logan Sieg who came to the apartment complex and “entered the dumpster to dig the puppy out and rescue it,” the department said.

Abandoned, Paralyzed Dog Found in China Looking for New Home in the U.S.
