The reality star rang in her 52nd birthday on Monday with a luncheon at Buca di Beppo in Los Angeles, just weeksafter leaving her rehabilitation facility.
Along with a handful of close friends and family, a group of Miller’sDance Momsstudents (including JoJo Siwa and her mother, Jessalyn Siwa) attended the party.
Of course, Miller documented the party on social media, posting several photos with her friends on Instagram. In one photo, she joked about her tan while posing with Siwa and singer Mackenzie Sol.

Last week, Miller, 53, reflected on her healthon the one-year anniversary of her emergency spinal surgery, which eventually resulted in her being diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Alongside a photo of her spinal surgery scar, Miller opened up about her journey and bashed some of the doctors that initially treated her.
“One year ago today ~ I underwent emergency surgery for an infection in my spine,” she wrote.

The reality star appeared at Lifetime’s Summer Luau on Monday night held at the W Hollywood in Los Angeles. Miller sat in a wheelchair as she stopped and smiled for photos on the red carpet.
Miller has been slowly to the spotlight since she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, last year.
Last month, she attended her former Dance Moms studentJoJo Siwa‘ssweet 16 birthday party.
A few weeks later, Miller, 53, reflected on her healthon the one-year anniversary of her emergency spinal surgery, which eventually led to her cancer diagnosis.

“Shame on you. Shame on you after what I did for you, for your children — helped make you a lot of money,” she told the outlet. “You couldn’t come to visit me for eight and a half months? You couldn’t send a card, a letter?”
Miller added that she did receive support — just not from the people she worked closely with on the popular reality show.

In an interview withPEOPLE Now‘s Jeremy Parsons on Monday, the Dance Moms star, 53, said prison doctors decided to discontinue her diabetes medication, which would eventually cause major health issues, when she was serving time from 2017-18.
“I didn’t realize at the time, I sent everybody at an email, telling them ‘I’m no longer diabetic,'” she said. “The doctor took me off all my medication. Then I get out, and hear, “Once a diabetic, always a diabetic.
