Aerosmith Kicks Off Las Vegas Residency with Miranda Lambert (and Her Husband!) in the Audience

Aerosmithdialed up some sweet emotion for their fans in kicking off their Las Vegas residency,Deuces Are Wild, on Saturday night. While the band has no shortage of personality, Aerosmith mainly stuck to the music at the opening night of their show, keeping the chatter to a minimum while peppering in some fan favorites from the band’s very early days with many of their most well-known songs. The show, which began with a lengthy video discussing the history of Aerosmith, amounts to an audible history of the group’s five decades together.

Aerosmith Postpones Farewell Tour to 2024 as Steven Tyler Fractures Larynx in Addition to Vocal Cord Injury

On Friday, the rock legendsshared a statement on Instagramannouncing that the remaining 2023 concerts on theirfarewell tourwill be postponed to 2024, citing frontman Tyler’s recovery from a newly discovered fractured larynx. The news comes two weeks after theband announcedthat the frontman “sustained vocal cord damage” and that they would need to reschedule six of their September concerts.
