Photo: CPSC (2)Fisher-Price is recalling two products after the deaths of four babies.According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the company’s 4-in-1 Rock ‘n Glide Soothers and 2-in-1 Soothe ‘n Play Gliders have been pulled, and refunds are available for anyone who purchased. Fisher-Price estimates that about 147,000 units of the 4-in-1 and about 92,000 units of the 2-in-1 have been sold worldwide.Infants were reportedly “placed on their backs unrestrained in the product and later found on their stomachs,” according to CPSC, noting that the four deaths occurred with the 4-in-1 between April 2019 and February 2020.

The alleged shooter’s father, 40-year-old Letterance Demont Grady, was subsequently charged with two counts of second-degree murder and one count of aiding an offender to avoid arrest.
The younger Grady turned himself in late last month, and his dad was arrested on Nov. 4, the paper reports.
Both remain in police custody, and neither defendant had enters pleas to the charges against them.

A global animal welfare organization’s largest bear rescue to date saved the lives of nine Asiatic black bears.
According to a release fromFOUR PAWS, the organization recently rescued the animals, picking up the nine bears from three different bear farms in the Binh Duong province of southern Vietnam.
Before their rescue, the bears were subjected to painful bile extractions, as bear bile is considered a remedy in traditional medicine, according to FOUR PAWS.
