Twenty-seven dogs finally got the day they have been waiting for.
According to aNo Dogs Left Behind (NDLB)release, the animal rescue group flew 27 canines they helped save from China’s dog meat trade to New York on March 8.
This is the kind of happy ending Jeff Beri radically changed his life for.

“In 2016, I hung up my suit and tie and went to China and never looked back,” Beri, NDLB’s founder and president, told PEOPLE about his nonprofit.

Jasayde Holder was fatally shot while at a home on West Earl Drive in Vineland, accordingto a police news release.Police were dispatched to the home around 11:15 p.,m. and transported Jasayde to Inspira Medical Center, where she succumbed to her injuries.
She had just completed the fourth grade at Dane Barse School. Her family described her as a creative child who loved music and riding her bike.

The second-degree murder charges against Michael Cammarata, 42, and Kangi-Ayisha Egea, 41, follow the death of 37-year-oldJeanine Cammaratawhose remains were discovered in a storage facility in the borough of Staten Island.
Cammarata and Egea are also charged with concealment of a human corpse and tampering with physical evidence.
