It was Christmas Eve of 1979, andAimee Mayo’s father had just put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger.
As news spread and chaos ensued in the home she shared with her grandparents, a terrified little girl was quickly hustled into her uncle’s bedroom in the hopes that she might be sheltered from the pain happening right outside the door. To keep her busy, the then 8-year-old’s grandmother haphazardly grabbed a Christmas present and threw it on the bed before she slammed the door in obvious distress.

Ain’t Too Proudmade its return to Broadway on Saturday in honor of original Temptations member and special guest Otis Williams' 80th birthday.
The hit musical, which tells the story of The Temptations' rise to fame, reopened on Broadway at the Imperial Theater in New York City. The reopening also coincided with Williams' upcoming birthday on Oct. 30, and to mark the occasion, the cast sang “Happy Birthday” to the iconic musician.

A man died on a 16-hour flight from India to Canada, which his daughter claims wouldn’t have happened if the plane had been diverted. However, Air Canada said a flight diversion “was not recommended.”
Shanu Pande told theCBCthat she had been traveling on the Air Canada flight in September with her father, 83-year-old Harish Pant, when he developed symptoms like chest pain, back pain, vomiting, loss of bowel control and the inability to stand up.

Air Canadaapologized to two passengers who were escorted off a plane after being told they had to sit in seats that were not cleaned well because someone vomited on them during the previous flight.
Susan Benson, a fellow passenger on the Aug. 26 flight from Las Vegas to Montreal, detailed the incident onFacebookthree days later.
Noting that “there was a bit of a foul smell,” Benson explained that someone on the flight before had vomited near where two women and a man in front of her “were struggling to get seated.
