Alan Cummingis making a bold statement for PETA.
The Scottish actor, 58, bared all — well,nearlyall — in his very first nude photo shoot, posing with nothing but a romaine lettuce leaf covering his anatomy in a new ad for the animal rights organization.“I’m the vegan option. Join me!” Cumming declares in the cheeky slogan on the ad, which features him posing on his side on top of a bar with a big grin.

Alan Cummingis teaming up with PETA to help find his former costar, a chimpanzee named Tonka, who mysteriously disappeared.
Cumming, 57, and Tonka starred together in the 1997 family comedy,Buddy, which is based on the true-life story of Gertrude Lintz, a 1920s socialite who raised monkeys as part of her family.
Continued the Tony Award-winner: “It’s horrible to think he might be in a cage in a dark basement somewhere or have met some other fate, so I’m appealing to whoever knows what has become of him to please come forward and claim the reward.

Alan Cummingis no longer an Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire.
“The Queen’s death and the ensuing conversations about the role of monarchy and especially the way the British Empire profited at the expense (and death) of indigenous peoples across the world really opened my eyes,“The Traitorshost wrote. “Also, thankfully, times and laws in the US have changed, and the great good the award brought to the LGBTQ+ cause back in 2009 is now less potent than the misgivings I have being associated with the toxicity of empire (OBE stands for Officer of the British Empire).

The 56-year-old actor spoke to Anthony Mason onCBS MorningsTuesday about his new memoirBaggage: Tales from a Fully Packed Life. During the discussion, Cumming opened up about the difficulty he had navigating his divorce and the “abuse” he faced from his father as a child.
In the interview, Cumming revealed that one his “darkest moments” was the day he auditioned for the 1995 James Bond filmGoldeneye.
