Tears were shed after two moms shared their emotional connection during Tuesday’s episode ofAmerica’s Got Talent.
Before the pair’s audition, Holly, a school teacher from Odessa, New York, revealed to the judgesHowie Mandel,Heidi Klum,Sofía VergaraandSimon Cowellthat “back in 2007, my son unfortunately passed away and he became an organ donor and his heart went to Kim’s son.”
Holly and Kim, a full-time mom from Eugene, Oregon, explained that although the pair didn’t meet at the time of the transplant, the audition song — “For Good” fromWicked— held a special meaning in both their hearts.
