Jonathan Goodwinis back home just in time for his birthday.
TheAmerica’s Got Talent: Extremestuntman, 42, announced Sunday that he was released from the hospital after the Octoberon-set accidentthat resulted in multiple broken bones, sharing the news with a photo of himself and fiancéeAmanda Abbington.
“Four months later… finally out of hospital,” Goodwinwrotein the caption. “My birthday today… can’t think of a better way to spend it than with my love.”

On Wednesday, the 40-year-old stunt performer shared an update on his health after he was hospitalized last week following an escape act gone wrong at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where the show is being filmed.
In the newphototaken from his hospital bed, Goodwin appears to have scabs on his face and a bandaged hand.

Stunt performer Jonathan Goodwin, who calls himself “The Daredevil,” remains in the hospital after his escape act on NBC’s upcoming spinoff series went wrong. The incident occurred at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, where the show is being filmed.
“During a rehearsal last evening forAmerica’s Got Talent: Extreme, an accident occurred in which escape artist Jonathan Goodwin was injured while performing his act,” a spokesperson for the show tells PEOPLE in a statement.
