Will Smithis getting some love as the blue-skinned Genie in the upcominglive-action filmAladdin.
The 50-year-old star was seen in all his magical glory in thefirst full-length trailerfor the film on Tuesday and plenty of fans are now excited about his portrayal as the granter of wishes.
“My opinion of this movie has changed COMPLETELY,” wrote on Twitter user. “I wanna watch this now.”
Another fan wrote, “Just as I expected,the full trailer for ALADDIN looks much better than the short clipthat everyone was s—— on a few weeks ago…Even the Genie looks a lot better when you see more than 3 seconds of him.

Steve Rose ofThe Guardiancalls the adaption“lively, colorful and genuinely funny” in his rave review.
“It still holds up as a tale whose central couple’s deceptions and entrapments and self-discoveries have a pleasing symmetry to them, and whose ‘it’s what’s inside that counts’ morals are in the right place,” he writes.

Aladdinis a whole new world with a whole new cast.
The live-action remake of the popular Disney film has raked in $207 million worldwide since its release on Friday and has earned $112 million at the U.S. box office, according toThe Hollywood Reporter.
And at the forefront of the film’s success are the film’s new stars, Mena Massoud as Aladdin and Naomi Scott’s Jasmine.
The stars were cast in their roles in July 2017 — and neither are strangers to the screen.
