Amber Tamblynisthe latest celebrityto express her support forBritney Spearsafter the pop icon spoke out in court against her conservatorship this week.
The Golden Globe nominee, 38,penned an essayforThe New York Timesin which she empathized with Spears, 39, recounting her own attempts to navigate fame at a young age. “There are some parallels,” she wrote, acknowledging she’s only experienced a “small taste” of Spears' relationship to fame.
“Having seen some of the complications and consequences that come with finding fame and financial success at a young age, I can attest to how challenging this combination of factors can be to navigate, even for those with the best of intentions,” Tamblyn continued.

The actress, now 35, talked about thepressures on young women,the #MeToo movementand the release of her first novel,Any Man, during a conversation withNew York Timesreporter Jodi Kantor on Tuesday night.
Tamblyn said that her agent at Warner Bros. called to congratulate her on the movie’s success, and to push her to lose weight.
“I think at that point I was 128 pounds and I’m 5’7″. I remember my agent saying to me — and she was a woman — ‘You have a real choice here.

“I think J.Lo wore it incredibly,” theHitchstar said in an exclusive clip of the the chat, above. “It’s just an amazing dress thatDonatella [Versace]designed that just has such longevity and is an iconic piece in fashion history. I don’t think it’s about who wears anything best. I think we’re all uniquely beautiful and have individually something to bring.”
She concluded: “Powerful women wear powerful dresses.”
Nearly 20 years after she first wore the dress, Lopezclosed the Versace Spring 2020 fashion showwearing an even more risqué version of the design, getting a standing ovation from the crowd and practically breaking the internet (again).

“This dress I think has been Googled more times than any other look in history – literally broke the Internet when she wore it,” said Valletta, referencing the singer’s bombshellappearance in the plunging green numberat the 2000Grammys. “Kinda cool to be a part of that history.”

No pants, no problem!
For her interpretation ofthis year’s theme, “Camp: Notes on Fashion,” Amber Valletta arrived at the 2019Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute Galaon Monday wearing an itsy-bitsy black cut-out bodysuit over sheer tights. She completed the look with simple pointy black pumps, a side-swept updo and emerald-and-diamond drop earrings.
“No pants girl!” added Valletta with a laugh.
