American Airlines Responds to Musician David Ryan Harris’ Claim that the Airline Accused Him of Trafficking His Biracial Kids

In a statement to PEOPLE, the airline said: “At American, the safety and security of our customers and team members are our top priorities. We strive to create a positive, welcoming environment for everyone who travels with us and apologize for any misunderstanding that may have occurred. A member of our team has reached out to the customer to learn more about their experience and address their concerns.” Harris posted a screenshot of the airline’s direct response to his complaint.

American Airlines Will Let Passengers with Nut Allergies Board Early and Wipe Down Their Seats

Beginning December 12, the airline will allowpassengers with nut allergiesto board flights early so they have time to wipe down their seats in case of contamination from a previous passenger. “Though we do not serve peanuts in flight, we can’t guarantee our customers won’t be exposed to peanuts or other tree nuts during their trip,” a spokesperson tells PEOPLE.

American Airlines, British Airways Named Among Worst Flight Options, New Survey Says

Travel, 6,500 plane passengers were polled in September on their trips and interactions with their chosen airlines, spanning areas of concern like customer service, seat comfort, punctuality and cabin environment, among other criteria. A total of 10,180 member experiences were recorded, according to aWhich?press release. British Airways took hits in categories like seat comfort, food and drink quality, and monetary value for services, while American Airlines was stuck with a 48 percent overall rating, landing it at the bottom of the pack for long-haul airlines.

One protestor died at the scene, while the other died in the hospital, the outlet reported.

American Athlete Kendra 'Keni' Harrison Wins a Silver Medal in Women's 100m Hurdles in Olympic Debut

She was just behind Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinn, who finished with 12.37.The 28-year-old is the world record holder in the event, setting a time of 12.20 back in 2016.
