An American Airlines flight was forced to make an emergency landing after a bout of severe weather damaged the plane.
Flight 1897 from San Antonio, Texas, to Phoenix, Arizona, hit a serious hail stormabout 70 minutes after taking off, partially crushing the nose and the windshield of the Airbus A319.

Joss Kendrick is American Girl’s 2020 Girl of the Year doll!
The new doll debuted onGood Morning AmericaTuesday, and is the first doll ever created with hearing loss.
According to the outlet, Kendrick is a competitive cheerleader and surfer from Southern California who was born deaf in her left ear, but still retains some hearing ability in her right ear with the help of a hearing aid — which comes as an accessory with the doll.

To celebrateAmerican Girl’s 35th anniversary, Mattel has announced the return of the brand’s historic, six original characters that started it all — Samantha Parkington, Kirsten Larson, Molly McIntire, Felicity Merriman, Addy Walker and Josefina Montoya.
Samantha, Kirsten and Molly, the first three dolls in the series, debuted in 1986 and were retired between 2008 and 2013. Felicity, Addy and Josefina were introduced in the 1990s and retired in the mid-2010s.
