American Girl’s newest “Girl of the Year” is making history.
The famous brandunveiledCorinne Tan, its first Chinese American “Girl of the Year” on Thursday. Corinne isdescribedas an avid skier who lives in Aspen, Colorado, where she “loves hitting the slopes, being a big sister, and training her new puppy.”

Scottie Scheffler just proved why he’s the world No. 1.
The 25-year-old just won the 2022 Masters — his first major victory — on Sunday at Augusta National, finishing -10 after four days of play.
Scheffler, who was already the current world No. 1, had three PGA Tour wins under his belt before the Masters. His previous best majors finish was T4 in the 2020 PGA Championship.

On Sunday, San Francisco-based public defender Jaime Alvarez decided he would try to snap a selfie with a bull after he had successfully run ahead of the herd of 12,000-pound animals at the annual festival in Pamplona, Spain, NBC 15reports.

Josh Holt, a 26-year-old Mormon missionary, had been held captive with his wife, fellow missionary Thamara Caleno, since shortly after their wedding in 2016. The two had been jailed and held without trial after Venezuelan law enforcementaccused the couple of stockpiling weaponsin their apartment in Caracas, reports NBC News. According to NBC, the State Department has called the charges against the couple “questionable.”
