Kaitlyn McCaffery suffered a “horrific accident” in the Indonesian province on July 31, and is currently hospitalized in Denpasar with a traumatic brain injury and other “serious” injuries, according to aGoFundMe page. “She was in a terrible moto-scooter accident while returning home to her apartment,” the page reads.

Astatementfrom the Department of Justice alleges that Allison Fluke-Ekren, a 42-year-old former teacher, has been charged with providing and conspiring to provide material support or resources to a foreign terrorist organization. Fluke-Ekren had been previously apprehended in Syria, but was only transferred into the custody of the Federal Bureau of Investigation on Friday.
