Amy Winehousemay have beendead since 2011,but that is not stopping her headlining a world tour.
Beginning next year, a hologram of the late singer — who died at age 27 from alcohol poisoning — will perform with a live band and backing singers.
The string of performances are expected to start in Fall 2019 and will feature “digitally remastered” versions of Amy’s popular hits,Rolling Stoneconfirms.
“This is a dream for us,” Amy’s father,Mitch,told the publication.

Last year, Ronson spoke about his experience co-writing and producing the song with Winehouse andshared previously-unheard raw vocal takesfrom the legendary neo soul singer in a TikTok video.
“Amy came to my studio right here. We met for the first time, and I instantly loved her,” Ronson continued.

On Monday,The Amy Winehouse Band— made up of several actual musicians who once performed alongside the “Valerie” singer — announced a special concert in Winehouse’s Camden, U.K. hometown to honor her life ahead of when she would’ve turned 40 on Sep. 14.
