A 24-year-old man was killed and five people, including four teenagers, were injured Sunday in Philadelphia after a gunman opened fire on a graduation party.
Police responded just after 10 p.m. local time to a report of a suspect firing into a crowd near Paschall Playground in Southwest Philadelphia, a spokesperson for the Philadelphia Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE.
Two other victims were transported to Penn; a 16-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy who were both shot in the leg.

One man was shot and killed, and five people were wounded when a gunman opened fire at a cabinet company in Bryan, Texas, where the suspect allegedly works, authorities said.
On Thursday at about 2:30 p.m. local time, officers from the Bryan Police Department responded to reports of an active shooting at Kent Moore Cabinets on Stone City Drive in the Brazos County Industrial Park, the department said in a release.

At least 1 person is dead with 6 others missing following a building fire in Montreal, which broke out Thursday morning and left several people injured, Montreal Police share.
The fire, which took place in the historic Old Montreal district and inside the three-story building, left the 15-unit stone structure engulfed in flames and prompted a search within the rubble for seven missing people believed to be trapped, per multiple reports.

One person is dead and several others were hospitalized, including a child and a firefighter, after a fire tore through multiple homes in Boston early Tuesday morning.
The fire began around 5 a.m. local time“in a large multi family building”on Meridian Street in East Boston before traveling totwo adjacent buildings, according to a series of posts on X from the Boston Fire Department.
At least five peoplewere rescuedfrom the six-alarm blaze, while one did not survive, the BFD said.

A recent outbreak of Salmonella found in raw beef has left eight people hospitalized and one dead, according to a report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Reported across six states, a total of 10 people have been infected with the strain of Salmonella Dublin. A supplier of the tainted meat has not yet been identified, as those affected said they ate different brands of beef purchased at different locations, according to theCDC report.
