A “mysterious” Roman statue, believed to be 1,800 years old, will soon be on display nearly a year after it was unearthed from the parking lot of an estate in England.
Greg Crawley, an excavator driver, discovered the marble head of a Roman woman in the spring of 2023 during the construction of a new visitor parking lot for Burghley House in Stamford, according to anews release.

The two children, as well as a 40-year-old woman, were found “stabbed to death” when police responded to “a domestic disturbance call” at a home in Amite at around 4:39 p.m. local time on Thursday, Jan, 9, the St. Helena Sheriff’s Office said in anews release.
Ryant Jones, 31, was named as the suspect. He was arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder.

That is how the grandmother of 1-year-old boy Kybrel described the alleged incident that led to his hospitalization with a traumatic brain injury to Pittsburgh outletWPXI.
Kybrel, who sustained a traumatic brain injury and multiple bruises, was rushed to the hospital, WTAE reported. He also suffered a stroke and broken neck vertebra and, once admitted, was placed on a ventilator because his brain was deprived of oxygen and swelling, according to WPXI.

Two Dubuque, Iowa, parents face felony neglect charges after their 1-year-old fell into a bucket of bleach inside their home.
Scott A. Marcov, 30, and Madelyn A. Marcov, 28, were arrested Tuesday and charged with neglect or abandonment of a dependent person, according toKALB.
Another child allegedly saw what had happened and carried the child to the couple while calling for help.
