10 Members of the Same Family Killed After Private Jet Crashes into Center of Busy Tourist Resort: Reports

Ten members of the same family have been killed after a private jet crashed minutes after taking off in southern Brazil on Sunday, Dec. 22. A statement released on theLinkedIn pageof business consultants Galeazzi & Associados, confirmed that company CEO Luiz Claudio Galeazzi, 61, died in the crash alongside his wife, three daughters, and other family members. Company director, Bruno Cardoso Munhoz Guimarães, was also listed as dead, per the release.

The workers, who officials have not reported having any contact with since the collapse, became trapped Wednesday when they breached a wall to an area filled with water, according to theAssociated Press.
