The alligator being seized.Photo:New York State Department of Environmental ConservationAnalligatorhas been seized after it was kept “illegally” in a New York home.Earlier this week, Environmental Conservation Police Officers (ECOs) relocated the 11-foot, 750-pound animal that was residing at a home in Hamburg, the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation said in aFacebook post.The alligator, who has “numerous health-related issues, including blindness in both eyes and spinal complications,” per the organization, was living in an in-ground swimming pool that the home’s owner built and installed as an addition to his house.

The child had “burns from a heating furnace, which was leaking steam” when crews arrived, per the department.
The boy was transported to Maimonides Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

Richmond police said the alleged carjacking incident occurred in the 400 block of Westover Hills Boulevard in South Richmond around 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 30.
“I was thinking he was asking for money or something but little did I know he was pointing a gun at me asking for my keys," she said.
Smith said the duo got into her car and left.
“The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle which was later located in Henrico County, crashed in a rural area,” the police press release states.

An 11-year-old boy died after authorities say he was found unconscious at a migrant center in New York City.
He was rushed to Mt. Sinai-West Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead, according to WNYW.
Police sources told theNew York Postthat when authorities found him, there had been a shoelace around his neck. A New York Police Department (NYPD) spokesperson told theWest Side Ragthat the police don’t suspect foul play and believe it was a possible suicide.

An 11-year-old boy from Indiana died after he was injured while playing with fireworks over the Fourth of July weekend.
Camrynn Ray McMichael, of Mount Vernon, was “seriously injured” Sunday night during a fireworks incident on N. Canal Street in his hometown, according to an Indiana State Policenews release.
The boy succumbed to his injuries while being transported to an Evansville hospital, per the statement. An official cause of death has not been revealed.
