A sixth child has died after amassive firetore through an Indiana home earlier this month. Five other children were killed in the fire that began at 222 North LaPorte Avenue in South Bend “in the early evening,” according to a previous news release fromthe fire department. The department has since identified the victims as three boys — Demetris Smith, 10, Deontay Smith, 5, and D’Angelo Smith, 4 — and two girls, Davida Smith, 9 and Faith Smith, 17 months.

An 11-year-old girl died after she was trapped in a Massachusetts house fire early Saturday. Middleborough Fire and Police were dispatched to 27 Pearl Street around 2 a.m. local time for a report of a structure fire with people trapped inside,authorities said in a release. “Once the fire was knocked down, the juvenile female was found deceased inside the home,” the authorities added. The girl has not been identified at this time, but according toFox affiliate WFXTandNBC affiliate WCVB, she was 11 years old and a student at Nichols Middle School.

Nicole Serna-Gonzalez, an 11-year-old girl from Virginia, was diagnosed with unilateral facial paralysis at birth. The condition, which doctors say could’ve developed during childbirth if her face was pressed against something, prevents Nicole from closing her right eye, smiling on the right side of her face or using that side of her face to show emotion.

The ship departed from Sfax, Tunisia, and was destroyed off the Italian island of Lampedusa.
