The 13-year-old girlaccused of murdering a mother of threeand then setting a home on fire appeared in court on Wednesday, March 12, for her first hearing.
The hearing lasted approximately four minutes, and the girl only spoke when asked to confirm her age and date of birth, according to the BBC.
At the end of the proceedings, the judge in the case remanded the girl to a youth detention center ahead of her next court hearing on April 11, the Northamptonshire Police said in anews release.

Jack de Bromhead, a 13-year-old jockey and the son of a prominent horse trainer, died over the weekend after falling from his pony during an event.
According to theBBC, Jack was participating in the Glenbeigh Racing Festival in Ireland on Sept. 3 when fell from his mount.Cork Beo, a local news outlet, reported that Jack suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
In adeath noticeposted on Sunday, Jack’s loved ones called him a “one-of-a-kind child” who “touched all our lives in the best way possible.
