A car crash killed a 1-month-old girl in Los Angeles on Monday.
The crash on the 101 Freeway in the Valley Villagekilled the infantand injured a Sylmar man, 27, and Sylmar woman, 26, who were transported to the hospital with significant injuries, the California Highway Patrol told CBS News.
All three occupants of a Land Rover were taken to the hospital, but the child — who was ejected — did not survive, per the outlet.

A 1-year-old boy is dead after a woman allegedly stole his mother’s vehicle with him inside and crashed.
Zarion was was in the rear passenger side of the vehicle, the newspaperreported. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s Office said although Zarion was in a car seat, he was not fully secured. There are also suspicions that Burse was speeding, according to theMilwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Zarion’s mother, Mikayla Tweedie, told the newspaper that Burse is her “acquaintance” and she had just gotten out of the vehicle before Burse allegedly stole it.

A North Carolina woman who was “in shock” as authorities tried to revive the lifeless 1-year-old foster child she’d left for several hours in a hot car has been charged with the boy’s involuntary manslaughter, according to a warrant for her arrest.
Police say 42-year-old Dawn Aberson-Vanden Broecke meant to drop off the child at day care on her way to work, but left him strapped into his safety seat in the backseat of her vehicle around 10 a.

The toddler is expected to survive, authorities said Tuesday following the incident at a family residence in northeast Houston, Texas.
Deputies from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office attended a residence off US-90 and Sheldon Road in East Harris County at around 4:30 p.m, Sheriff Ed Gonzalezsaid in a social media post.
First responders then transported the child to the hospital where his wound did “not appear to be life-threatening,” the sheriff’s office added.
