A medical helicopter crash in Madison County, Miss., on Monday, March 10, has claimed the lives of all three people on board.
TheUniversity of Mississippi Medical Center(UMMC) identified the deceased as Dustin Pope, 35, of Philadelphia, Miss.; Jakob Kindt, 37, of Tupelo, Miss.; and Cal Wesolowski, 62, of Starkville, Miss., on Tuesday, March 11.
The three first responders were traveling in the AirCare Eurocopter EC-135 helicopter when it went down in a heavily wooded area south of the Natchez Trace Parkway and north of Pipeline Road in Madison County at approximately 1:15 p.

Three men from Massachusetts were safely rescued after getting stranded in “white out conditions” on Mount Lincoln in New Hampshire on Sunday, Feb. 9, according to a New Hampshire Fish and Game Tuesday, Feb. 11statement.

A Michigan mother has been arrested after abandoning her three children in “absolute squalor” for years.
Police found a 15-year-old boy and his two sisters, aged 12 and 13 during a welfare check at a home in the 600 block of Lydia Lane in Pontiac on Friday, Feb. 14, the Oakland County sheriff’s office announced in apress release.
“They were wearing soiled clothing, their hair was matted, and their toenails were several inches long, making it difficult to walk,” the sheriff’s office said.

The department shared in apost on Facebookthat they were initially told that there were “three to four people on the ice” but discovered that there were five individuals who needed assistance and were hypothermic after their arrival.
Wentworth’s team requested assistance from Bridgton Fire & Rescue ice rescue personnel, the Brownfield Volunteer Fire Department, and ambulances from United Ambulance Service and Fryeburg Rescue.
Fryeburg Rescue shared in their ownFacebook postthat the call was"amongst several" 911 calls they received on Saturday, and they were able to assist the department with two ambulances that had both on and off-duty personnel.

A 22-year-old driving a stolen car allegedly crashed into two sheriff’s office vehicles as well as another vehicle in Florida on Dec. 6, killing three people and injuring two others, police say.
Roman instead crashed the Mustang into the two sheriff’s department vehicles and fled, according to authorities.
“This criminal had no regard for human life. Our deputies, facing danger, had to jump out of the way of a man they feared would run them over to get away,” HCSO Sheriff Chad Chronister said in the department’s statement on the incident.
