After spending the night drifting in the cold waters of southwestern Australia, four teenagers were found alive on an island.
The Victoria Police said on social media that the four teens “set out on two stand-up paddle boards” from Rosebud beach on Monday evening.
The group — which included two 18-year-old males, an 18-year-old female and a 19-year-old female — werecelebrating the end of their high school studies, according to 7 News.

Just days before Christmas, a Wisconsin family is reeling after a suspected drunk driver allegedly crashed head-on into their family’s vehicle and killed four siblings, say authorities.The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office identified the victims as driver Daniel Gonzalez, 25, his brother Fabian Gonzalez, 23, and their younger sisters, Lilian Gonzalez, 14, and Daniela Gonzalez, 9.
Lilian was a freshman in high school and one day wanted to become a teacher, while Daniela was in fourth grade and wanted to become a cheerleader, the girls’ mother Paulina told localWLUK.

The historic site receives about 18,000 human visitors each season, per NPR, and approximately 6,000 applicantsapplied to work at the remote office.
