Five skiers were taken to the hospital after a lift chair collision at the Heavenly Ski Resort on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe.
The incident occurred on Monday, Dec. 23 around 10 a.m. local time leaving multiple skiers injured, according toABC7.
Tahoe Douglas Fire Protection District responded to the incident with two fire engines and three rescue ambulances, per ABC7 andCNN.

Legalizing recreational marijuana was on the ballot in five states on Tuesday asmidterm elections took place across the country.
Voters in Arkansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Dakota and South Dakota had a chance to join 19 other states and the District of Columbia, which have already legalized recreational marijuana over the last decade. Each of those five states had already legalized marijuana for medical use.
