The six people who were injured were transported to a local hospital, where they were released. There were 167 passengers on the flight in total, and seven crew members.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) said on Monday, Dec. 30, at 5 p.m. local time, two men opened fire inside the G&W convenience store in the Bronx and six people were injured with gunshot wounds,ABC Newsreported. Among the victims was a 40-year-old mother, whose identity has not been released, who sustained a bullet wound to her stomach and her 12-year-old daughter who was shot in the leg.
