Aaron Rodgersis open to reconnecting and reconciling differences with his family, the NFL star says in his new Netflix docuseries.Rodgers, 41, and his immediate family have had a long-estranged relationship, which the quarterback says dates back to incidents that occurred when he was in high school.
The docuseries,Aaron Rodgers: Enigma, began streaming Tuesday and the three hour-long episodes detail the four-time NFL MVP’s career and controversies — from his opinions on vaccines and psychedelic medicines to the drama within his family.

“I think part of the real joy in this work, is, there is such a feminine spirit to ayahuasca,” he says, suggesting that the psychedelic drug allows users to “model a new way of thinking about masculinity, or what it means to be a man.

Aaron Rodgershas plans for the off-season — and they include indulging in psychedelic drugs.
During his regular appearance onThe Pat McAfee ShowTuesday, the New York Jets quarterback showed his appreciation for ayahuasca, but did not go so far as to endorse it to the greater public.
“I definitely encourage people to look into it,” the 40-year-old NFL star said. “I don’t think it’s smart to maybe recommend it because people always want to blame other people for certain things, but I can speak for my own experience it was life-changing, has been life-changing, and it is something that I look forward to doing in some form or fashion this off season as well.
