I thought, ‘Why have them in my closet taunting me when I’m never going to fit into them?’ ”Dering threw the bag into the trunk of her car and donated the lot.

The family of Elizabeth Pollard, the 64-year-old Pennsylvania grandmother who was found deadafter falling into a 30-foot sinkhole over a week ago, said their loved one found happiness in taking care of her 5-year-old granddaughter following the death of her son.
“Her granddaughter was her world,” Tabitha Pollard, a niece of Elizabeth, toldThe Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “Wherever she was, her granddaughter was with her.”
This past January, Pollard, of Unity Township, lost her son Brandon, 28.

In an amended complaint filed Nov. 30, Petito’s parents, Joseph Petito and Nichole Schmidt, allege that after Laundrie killed Petito, he sent text messages “back and forth between his cell phone and Gabrielle Petito’s cell phone in an effort to hide the fact she was deceased.”
The young couple was on a cross-country road trip and documenting their adventures on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok when Petito, 22, vanished without a trace.

An 8-year-old Wisconsin girl, whose father took his own life, wanted to do her part to help make sure other kids don’t have to grow up without a parent. Her lemonade stand raised $800 for suicide prevention.
Kyleigh Brunette, from Sheboygan, remembers playing disc golf and video games and going to parks with her father, 32-year-old Jordon Wakefield.
“He was funny and loving and caring for me and he would never, ever yell at me,” Kyleigh tells PEOPLE.
