Over the past two years, rising country artistAlex Hallhas been given the chance to play music for hospital patients as part of theMusicians on Callprogram. But up to this point, these meetings were always virtual due to the ongoing pandemic.
That is, until now.
“Just having the energy in the room with each other felt different,” Hall, 28, tells PEOPLE following a recent visit with a few select patients at theNashville VA Medical Center.

Rock climber Alex Honnold is defying the odds again in the first episode ofEdge of the Unknown with Jimmy Chin.
In the premiere of National Geographic’s newest show, mountaineer Jimmy Chin, 48, will be following Honnold, 37, in his free solo climb in the High Atlas mountains of Morocco.
In thetrailerfor the episode, Honnold shares some of his thoughts throughout the steep climb. “I definitely feel fear,” the rock climber says, “I mean, if I didn’t feel fear I wouldn’t have to do all the prep work; I’ll just go up and do the route.

A Texas jury has ordered Alex Jones to pay the parents of a Sandy Hook shooting victim more than $45 million in punitive damages after he called the mass shooting a hoax and accused victims' parents of being actors.On Friday, Neil Heslin and Scarlett Lewis, the parents of Jesse, 6, who died in the 2012 massacre, were awarded $45.2 million in punitive damages for the suffering they experienced due to Jones' lies, according toCNN.

For pushing false conspiracy theories following the 2012 elementary school massacre, a judge ordered Infowars hostAlex Jonesto pay an additional $473 million in punitive damages to the families of Sandy Hook victims, multiple outlets report.
According to theAssociated Press,CNN, andThe New York Times, this brings the total judgment against Jones and his company Free Speech Systems to a whopping $1.44 billion.
