The pair first met in the ’90s in New York City when they were just teenagers. Although they didn’t hit it off then, the “Girl on Fire” singer and the music producer reconnected in 2008 for a music project and have been inseparable ever since. The couple went on to wed in 2010 and welcome two sons: Egypt and Genesis. Keys is also stepmom to Beatz’s kids from previous relationships: son Kasseem “KJ” Jr.
