According to Navy Cmdr. Beth Teach, per theSan Diego Union-Tribune,the MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter from Helicopter Maritime Strike 41 squadron hit the water around 6:40 p.m. local time during a training exercise. “Due to the nature of the training, a safety boat was on location and, with the assistance of Federal Fire, all six crew members survived and were promptly moved ashore,” Teach told local Fox affiliateKSWB.
