Alaska State Troopers said in a statement that Ashley Johnson-Barr, 10, was last seen at about 5:30 p.m. on Sept. 6 at Rainbow Park playground in Kotzebue in northwest Alaska.
Her family reported her missing when she failed to return home, the post says. She was last seen wearing a pink sweater and jeans.
Ashley’s cell phone was found in the streetabout a half-mile from the parkbut in the opposite direction from her home, according to a statement from Kotzebue Police Chief Thomas Milliette, theAnchorage Daily Newsreports.

Two days after 10-year-old Summer Bell Brown was shot and killed while sitting in her family’s car in their driveway, Phoenix police have made an arrest in the case.
Summer was killed Wednesday evening in an apparent road rage incident, Phoenix police said at a press briefing Wednesday.
At around 5:45 p.m., Summer’s father, Dharquintium Brown, was driving his family home when he noticed a white pickup truck driving closely behind them.
