Tammy Slatonis sharing how her weight loss surgery has benefited more than just her health.
On Wednesday, the1000-Lb. Sistersstar, 37, posted a TikTok video responding to a follower who complimented her on her hair.
“I kinda wanted to talk about my hair actually. If yall have been watching, in the fourth season episode 3 you’ll see in the beginning I had red curly hair. That was this past February and since then, my hair has actually grown in so much,” she said with a smile.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive clip from Tuesday’s episode of1000-Lb. Sisters, the 37-year-old is hitting the gym with her siblings Chris, Amanda and Misty. Taking Chris’ advice, they all wore trash bags to sweat more during the group workout.
“All the way through high school, football practice and wrestling practice when you had to sweat, to cut weight the coach told you to get a trash bag and put it on and start sweating,” Chris says in the clip.
