A 106-year-old woman who marks her birthday every year at a Milwaukee casino had even more to celebrate this year!
But the centenarian, who has lived her entire life in the Milwaukee area, was in for an even bigger gift when the casino decided to match her winnings.

Last week, the Wisconsin woman also enjoyed a birthday party, where she donned a celebratory sash and reminisced about the joy in her life — particularly, her dog, Happy.

A discovery over a century in the making!
In order to find the ship, an expedition team made use of the coordinates Captain Frank Worsley wrote down when the vessel sank, according to theFalklands Maritime Heritage Trust, which organized the search.
The vessel ended up being located just four miles south of those coordinates at a depth of almost 10,000 feet in the Weddell Sea.

Japanese Sisters Umeno and Koume.Photo: Guinness World RecordsJapanese sisters born in 1913 have been certified as the world’s oldest identical twins.Guinness World Records revealed on Monday that twins Umeno Sumiyama and Koume Kodama, who were 107 years old and 300 days as of Sep. 1, had become the new record holders.The sisters are currently living in separate nursing and were presented certificates marking their accomplishment.Sumiyama cried when she saw the certificate, while Kodama wasn’t able to “fully comprehend the significance” due to her ailing memory, stafferstold Guinness World Records.

At least 109 employees at Winter Park Resort in Colorado have tested positive forCOVID-19, the ski resort reported on Monday.
Grand County Public Health and Winter Park Resort released a joint statement addressing the outbreak and their cooperation with The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) moving forward.
“Through case investigations, it has been determined that these cases have not been traced back to transmission through interaction with visitors but, rather, from social gatherings outside of the workplace and congregate housing,” the organizationsclaim.

On Monday, Ocala police announced that 10th grader Chris “Chevy” Chevelon Jr. was killed outside an apartment complex at about noon on Sunday, according to theOcala Star-Banner,Fox35andWKMG. Chevelon was out with friends when a vehicle with an unknown number of occupants confronted the group.
Shots were fired from the car, hitting Chevelon. He was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. No other injuries were reported from the shooting.
