A Texas family had a rollercoaster of a year after 11-year-old Roxli Doss was diagnosed with an incurable cancer — only to find out that the tumor had disappeared with no explanation just three months later.
Dr. Virginia Harrod from Dell Children’s Medical Center, where Doss was being treated, told KVUE her condition was “very rare … It is a devastating disease. You have decreased ability to swallow, sometimes vision loss, decreased ability to talk, eventually difficulty with breathing.

His mom’s ex-boyfriend, Jakeith Huntley, allegedly fired off ten rounds through a window into the room where she and Jeremiah were sleeping, police say, the station reports.
Other family members, including Jeremiah’s grandparents and his cousins, were reportedly home at the time of the shooting but were unharmed.
A motive for the shooting remains unclear.

An 11-year-old girl was fatally shot Monday night while she was returning home from buying a quart of milk at a local convenience store.
Syracuse police say the assailant shot Brexialee Torres-Ortiz in the midsection. The fifth grader died at a local hospital.
No arrests have been made in the case.
Onondaga County District attorney William Fitzpatrick said the shooting appeared to be gang-related.
“This poor little angel,” Fitzpatrick said, according to theTheNewYorkTimes.
