A wild 14-foot crocodile in Indonesia that had a motorcycle tire stuck around its neck for 6 years has finally been freed.
Back in 2016, the reptile — which was referred to locals as “buaya kalung ban,” the crocodile with a tire necklace — was first spotted with the vehicle part around its body near the country’s Palu River, according to theAssociated Press.
Over the years, many tried to provide aid to the animal, including Australian crocodile wrangler Matt Wright, among others, but none were successful.

A puppy in Arizona recently found herself in a tight squeeze, but thanks to diligent work from rescuers, was luckily extracted from her unusual hiding place without harm.
The little dognamed Gracie, just 14 weeks old, had recently tried to escape two larger dogs who were chasing her on Feb. 1, according to a Facebook post from the Arizona Humane Society (AHS).
The scary situation resulted in her “[wedging] her way on top of the rear axle of the undercarriage of a car” and becoming too frightened to make her way out.

A 14-year-old boy from Alabama who allegedly confessed to fatally shooting his brother, 17, was in possession of a “hit list” detailing other family members he planned to kill, according to police.
On Wednesday, local news outletWAKA 8reported that the Pike County teen was in custody after allegedly killing his older brother on Tuesday.

In April, after missing his bus to school, 14-year-old Brennan Walker went looking for help — walking up to a home in Rochester Hills, Michigan, to ask for directions.
In surveillance footage from the home released last week, Brennan, who is black, can be seen sprinting away from the front door as Jeffrey Zeigler, who is white, takes aim at him and fires once — but misses.
On Friday, a Michigan jury found Zeigler, 53, guilty of assault with attempt to do great bodily harm and possession of a firearm in the commission of a felony, PEOPLE confirms.

A teen boy, who was rescued last week after getting buried in a sand hole he’d been digging in rural Minnesota, has died.
A 911 call was made around 5:30 p.m. to report that “a 14-year-old male victim was stuck in a sand hole covered in sand,” Wabasha County Chief Deputy Jim Warren said in a statement, theRochester Post-Bulletinreports.
