Jefferson County Public Schools Superintendent Marty Pollio said that the school bus the teenagers were waiting for arrived not long after the “traumatic” incident, according toABC News.
At this time, no arrests have been made and authorities are now asking the public for help in the investigation. “You can remain anonymous,” the Louisville Metro Police Department said. “We need your help.”
In a statement, Renee Murphy, a spokesperson for Jefferson County Public Schools, told CBS-affiliateWLKY, ‘This is devastating to us to hear of the loss of one of our students in a circumstance like this.

A New Jersey beach community is paying tribute to a 16-year-old lifeguardwho tragically died in a boating accident on the joblast week.
Norman V. Inferrera III was identified as the teen lifeguard who died after his boat capsized at Reading Avenue Beach on Thursday, city officials confirmed in apress releaseover the weekend.
“The family is deeply moved and became very emotional upon the news,” Price wrote on the fundraiser.

A 16-year-old lifeguard has died after his boat capsized while on the job in Cape May, New Jersey.
After being transported to the Cape Regional Medical Center and airlifted to Cooper University Hospital trauma center, Inferrera died of his injuries Friday night.
