An Alabama woman allegedly drowned her two children before she killed herself on Thursday in what Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch called a “horrific” murder-suicide, according toFox 10 News.
The local news station reported that Burch identified the mother as 37-year-old Nancy Johnson and her two children as 2-year-old son Jacob Johnson and 5-year-old daughter Mia Johnson.

A California daycare was the scene of a tragedy on Monday morning.
Two were later declared dead, and the other’s health status was updated to “non-life threatening,” the outlet reports.
The daycarestates on its websitethat it is a “licensed home daycare” with a full-time and part-time schedule that includes “indoor/outdoor activities that embrace creativity.” The website states that the location is “following all safety protocols,” has “age-appropriate daily lessons,” and maintains an “individual approach to each child.

A 51-year-old bus driver is facing homicide charges after he drove a city bus into a daycare center in Laval, Quebec, just outside Montreal.
Two children were killed and six others were injured in the Wednesday morning crash,The New York Timesreported.
“He will be meeting the investigators but as of now we do not know the motive of the crime,” Laval Police spokesperson Erika Landry said, according to CNN.

Two children were killed and eight people were injured after a drag race vehicle slammed into spectators at a racing event in Kerrville, Texas, according to authorities.
Around 3:20 p.m. on Saturday, a car taking part in “Airport Race Wars 2,” a drag race event at the Kerrville-Kerr County Airport, “lost control and left the runway, crashing into parked vehicles and striking spectators who were observing the races,” the Kerrville Police Department said in astatement.
