At least two people were killed and five more were injured in a shooting at a shopping mall in Boise, Idaho, on Monday.
Officers responded around 1:50 p.m. to reports of shots fired at the Boise Towne Square Mall, the police departmentwrote in a press release. Upon arrival, authorities “confronted an individual matching the description of the suspect outside of the mall.”
“Gunfire was exchanged resulting in injury to both the suspect and an officer,” the department wrote.

Two people were killed and six others were injured during a massive house party at a suburban Georgia residence over the weekend.
On Saturday,“well over” 100 teens were at the partyat a home in Douglasville, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement posted on Facebook Sunday.
“A confrontation occurred that resulted in two deaths and six injured from gunshots,” the sheriff’s office said. “Information is very limited at this time.

Two people were found dead and five others are still missing after a boat capsized off the Florida Keys, the U.S. Coast Guard said instatementon Friday.
The agency first heard of the accident as Key West watchstanders received multiple reports of people in the water at approximately 10 a.m. local time on Friday morning.
“We’ve gotten reports from all across the Lower Keys about people in the water,” Coast Guard Petty Officer Nicole Groll said toReuters, adding it was possible that more than one vessel had overturned or sunk.

Two women died and at least nine others were injured Friday when a car crashed into an outdoor dining area at the Parthenon restaurant in Washington, D.C., authorities say.
The accident took place at around 12:15 p.m. when an elderly man driving north on Connecticut Avenue “lost control” of his SUV, according to Commander Duncan Bedlion of the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD).
