Two elderly German men proved this to be true when they snuck out of their nursing home to attend the Wacken Open Air music festival, which is considered the biggest heavy metal festival in the world.
Police finally found the two headbangers 25 miles from their nursing home at the music festival at about 3 a.m. where Merle Neufeld, a police spokesperson, told German outlet Deutsche Welle they were “disoriented and dazed.

Seven fifth-graders became ill after ingesting “unidentified edible” gummies at an elementary school in Washington, D.C., authorities said.
The incident happened at Key Elementary School shortly before 2 p.m. on Wednesday.
All of the affected students are now in stable condition, the statement said.

Two tourists fell to their death while hiking in a popular area of Utah’s Arches National Park on Friday, authorities said.
The Grand County Sheriff’s Office said ina statementthat three individuals had fallen in the Delicate Arch area of the park early on Friday morning. A 65-year-old man and a 60-year-old woman were killed in the fall, while a third individual, a 30-year-old man, was flown to a local hospital.

Two firefighters were shot shot inside a Birmingham, Alabama, fire station.
Two firefighters in Birmingham, Alabama, were shot inside a fire station Wednesday in what authorities say may have been a targeted attack.
“The preliminary investigation has revealed that an unknown suspect(s) shot the two firefighters while the two firefighters were inside Fire Station #9. The shooting appears to have taken place near the bay doors,” Birmingham Police said in its statement.
