2 Flight Nurses, Including Wife of Retired Fire Chief, Among Victims of San Diego Plane Crash

There were no survivors. Aninitial reportfrom the Federal Aviation Administration stated that there were two flight crew members and two passengers aboard the Learjet 35 aircraft at the time of the fatal crash. Although authorities have yet to release the names of the victims, sources told localCBS affiliate KFMBthat two pilots and two nurses were killed in the crash.

A preliminary investigation found that Det. Daniel Leyden, who worked within the Criminal Investigations Division, was the sole shooter. 2 Found Dead in Plane After Crash in Utah Mountains, Sole Survivor Airlifted to Hospital

The 22-year-old man was airlifted to a local hospital,according to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office. In a video shared as a part of the sheriff’s office’s Facebook post, a LifeFlight helicopter can be seen hoisting the survivor high over snow-dappled mountain peaks.
